Hi all,
Can somebody point me to the location where I can copy paste the base
ATM switch configuration to be used in the labs like Ipexpert? Since I
am not as familiar as FR switch, all I need is to have very basic
connectivity from ATM router having 1 or 2 PVCs.
Thanks,
Rajesh

I am looking for a ATM switch, other than LS1010 or LS100 as mentioned by
some of you earlier, is there any cheaper solution? Say, would other brand
of ATM switch would do the same thing since I understand you don't need to
config ATM switch in lab exam anyway?
thanks...

Hello All,
Could someone please advise as to whether this would be a good addition to
my lab or not. I would like to eventually pursue my CCIE but right now I
have an option to buy a Nortel ATM 10625 ATM switch for about $275.00.
Currently, I have a CAT 5000 w/ a dual OC-3 MMF blade
I am in need of suggestions on which device to purchase for atm in my home
lab. I have read ls 100 is a good choice.

Try FORE or Nortel, but I don't think you are going to find them much
cheaper than the LS100.

I have looked high and low for other training materials on the configuration
of the Centillion switch but with no luck. Does anyone have the study

Terry,
You should buy an ATM switch based on your objectives.

If you want to do PVC, SVC, but no auto-discovery, you can go for LS100.
If you want to confine yourself to PVC only with no auto-discovery and

Hi,
If I were to get an ATM switch for the lab, which one should I be getting at
a minimum so as to practise atm? I see a cisco LS100 model but I have heard
references about a 1010 model. Would someone advise me as to what should I
be getting?
Thank you.
Kind regards,

Last post doesn't seem to have taken, so I'll try again. Does anyone have
any experience with the Madge 750 ATM switch? My PVC's seemed to work fine
but the SVC set-up procedure fails witha cause 90 (cause = mandatory
information element is missing, location = user, diag1 = 90).
