Decided it was a shame not to do the couple of exams to get to CCDP, so got
hold of the Cisco Press DCN book last week and took the exam today.
Managed a 922, although I wasn't even sure that I'd passed as I hit the
final NEXT button. I was totally bored through the whole of the book and the

Finally, passed the exam of CCDA, considered that it
was hardest. It is because the exam question is very long, very

Decided to take a break from preparing for CCIE written and took the
CCDA test Friday. Just used the Cisco Press CCDA book. Passed with a 931,
but I honestly thought I was going to fail about half way through. There
were many questions where they showed you an exhibit consisting of

CCDA had a 120 minute time limit. I finished with 35 to spare. I had about the
same scenarios, but had about 2 1/2 times the amount of questions all within the

Whew, took the CCDA exam on Wens. 72 questions, 755 to pass. Had 3 scenarios
with around 12 questions from them. The test really makes you think.

blank questions, and the multiple choice questions were a breeze. I had just
the opposite experience with the case studies - the questions I was asked
about them seemed VERY vague in contrast to the questions in the Sybex a

sat through, but it was kind of easy. The scenario questions were really
freebies, since the answers were all part of the question. The tough part
was the fill in the blank questions...I got about five of those, and I'm no
