I swear I get more error messages on my stuff than anyone! I must have that
magic 'static' toouch or something!
So here is the problem: I have a 6506 hooked up with both power supplies
plugged in and everything says 'green'- everything except module 6 which is
a 16 port gigabit card. It was work
Does the fact that it wasn't on a UPS imply that it also wasn't on a surge
supressor?
extrapolate conclusion.

I opened the case with TAC. I went out and reseated the module (the site is
20 miles away from my office) and it ended up registering. Of course the

I was thinking while reading these posts in this thread and thought "aren't
these modules hot swappable?" So it would seem that if you just reseat the
Gig card while it's up and running, you'd know right away if the module
comes up. Having said that, I would agree with the TAC tech and say
