an Intranet?
It's right that the main software for the management and monitoring of the
network , for the Cisco Tecnology, are :
Cisco Works ?
Cisco NetFlow Analyzer ?

Man- I'd say Netflow, but of granular stuff you would want statistics,
protocols, top talker, etc., etc. Really- you are kinda decribing something
that is done best with an RMON probe or a field of RMON probes. You would

YES, we are using Netflow
A customer wants us to install a new Cisco switch infrastructure. After the
install, they would like to have a documented test of the network (i.e.
under heavy load, throughput, latency, etc.). Does anyone know of a good

Hi all
I have a Cisco Catalyst 1200 series Hub that is connected to another hub
through port TX 3.
Could anyone give me a way in which to monitor the traffic load that is
being moved through that port.
I am needing to monitor it for 24 hours.
