Just For Fun Network monitoring (or something like that).
I came accross it a week or two back and thought it looked quite good. I
think it may have been on sourceforge.

Netsaint/Nagios rocks. MRTG is also cool if you don't have much time, but
if you've got time/energy to spare, roll your own using RRDTool. Unlike
MRTG, RRDTool

This would be the out of subject but I need your help.
We've been trying to setup network monitoring systems.
I tried to find what is the most important to check on external network.
Company has more than 20 datacenters worldwide.
Is there any white paper that explain in detail?
Thank you.
My take would be either the previously mentioned spectrum, Netcool on
www.netcool.com, or the really cheap Nocol.

Hi,
Have you try MRTG. It pretty good and its free. It runs on both NT and
Unix. The reports is in HTML format, good for the bosses, but I do not
remember pie charts on it.
Just search for MRTG on your favorite search engine.
Thanks,
