According to the suggestions of the Cisco groupstudy, the Cisco Internetwork
Design of Cisco Press is good of CID exam. I am preparing CID with this
book, and also use Robert Padjen's Cisco Internetwork Design Study Guide of
Sybex to complete the study.

I used the Todd Lammle book from Sybex along with the CID tests from Boson.
I found the tests very helpful in helping me focus in certain areas and fill
in gaps from the book. I passed the test last night with a 79%!!

Robert, I ordered your book but have not received it as of yet. Do you feel that you cover the Stratacom topics well enough? Or will I have to find material on this topic elsewhere? This seems to be the biggest complaint on this test.

With all due respect to the author(s), I do not recommend the Sybex book
mentioned below for use to study the 640-025 test.
The book is deficient in the areas of X.25, SNA, Campus Lan Design,
Desktop Protocol Design, Wan Design and

left hand side. "Internetwork Design Guide.".
top down network design is also a good book, (you'll have to buy it) and the
internetworking case studies are helpful in finding the cisco way of doing
things.
