I have seen more than a couple of times trainees install a DB60 cable upside
down. Not sure if the proctor would do that, and even if I'm sure, I won't
tell you. :-P
As for the rest of the stuffs, if you understand and can configure all the
things that you are suppose to know at the CCNP level..

I am looking for a reference for CCIE study.
I am currently a CCNA and schedualed to take the Switching exam in about 2
weeks. After that , I will only need the CIT for CCNP.

You can definitely install a DB60 upside down. I won't even say I've watched
a trainee do it, I've done it myself. It is easier than you think, the hood
becomes distorted and it becomes even easier the next time.

Slightly related is a favorite troubleshooting exercise of one of the
first 10 CCIEs: set up a dual-homed site, and switch the two WAN
cables during lunch.

Yes, Lou Rossi frequently uses crack from what I understand. It's very
popular in Florida! J/K (Lou's a great guy and doesnt use crack)
It is VERY easy to install one of DB60 cables UPSIDE-DOWN.
