You had 80 BGP

3600's support T3...heck, 3600's support 155Mbps ATM..(i *know*
you won't get that speed out of them, but its supported as far as an
interface). A 3600 can have up to 3 DS3 interfac
You may also want to consider plugging it directly into a switch with a
layer 3 route/switch module. If you already have a switch in your network
it might make more sense to upgrade the switch then to purchase a seperate
device.
I know the Catalyst4000 on up can handle ATM T3s. And I think
Something to consider. Although the 3600 can support a HSSI port you need
to think about how much throughput will be going through the router. We had
a 3640 with about 80 BGP entries and about 50 lines of ACL on it with 128MB
of RAM. It had 10-12MB sustained throughput on one of its interface
A quick look at Cisco's configurator tool, found at
http://www.cisco.com/pcgi-bin/front.x/config_root.pl
reveals the following:
the 26xx supports a DS3 ATM network module
the 36xx same thing. Can get a HSSI module, if you want to use an external
T3 DSU
otherwise, yes, your only choice is 720
The 4000, 6700, 7000 and 12000 series support T3 (DS3)
