While I can't find any of the old documentation I had for the SSRs, I know we've never set them up to do DHCP forwarding, but that doesn't mean they can't. As for how does the server know, it has to come off a source network, so this is relayed along with the packet so the server knows what

You'll only want the 1 IP on the server if the local network has 1 IP range. If memory serves me right, you just add a 2nd scope and setup the ip helper-address to the server. It acts as the DHCP relay and the server will know the request came from the other network. Hopefully someone will add
