To be honest, if I were to take part in the survey, I would inflate the salary and expect most others to do the same. This wouldn't be done out of pride or to impress, but what are you going to get out of giving your real salary out. May as well try to push the going rate up, I would have thought.

One thing to consider is that the salaries listed on page 3 are for MCSEs WITH the listed cisco cert (and who knows how many other certs). Still, I agree that all of the surveys I've seen are pretty superficial appearing and seem to be 10-20% above salaries I've seen. To do a comprehensive survey
