PIX Firewall 500 series
1) PIX 515 Failover PIX 515 Failover (Chassis, software, two 10/100
and
2) PIX 515 Restricted Bund PIX 515R Bundle (Chassis, restricted SW, 2 FE
port

Until recently there seemed to be very little available training for PIX's.
It was just a small portion of the MCNS course. You may already know this,
but just in case: Cisco now has a new security certifiction as of a couple
of months ago. They now have a separate full-blown class on the PIX,
Anyone have informattion, where i can find simulated exams for Cisco PIX

And what best sources, prepare for this exam ?

Thank you for contacting Cisco Career Certifications and training.
Being CCNA or CCNP you need to take all four exams to be a Security
Qualified Specialist. MCNS is the first of all four exams. The may 14th
deadline is for specializations that are retiring only. Security is not one

currently are no books that directly correspond to the Security specialist
tests - except the CCNA and MCNS- which have Cisco Press and other books
out. The information I have is that the other three tests come directly

Hi Friends,

1. 640-442 MCNS
Managing Cisco Network Security (MCNS)
2. 9E0-571 CSPFA
Cisco Secure PIX Firewall Advanced (CSPFA)
(see also prerequisite course Cisco Secure PIX Firewall Fundamentals CSPFF)
3. 9E0-558 C
Does anyone know where to find specifics about the associated new courses
and/or source documents that would be adequate to prepare for these 3 new
tests? Thanks
