Hi John,
Cable companies often configure their provisioning (DHCP) severs
to verify that the incoming DHCP request is from a MAC which is
known.
Couple of things to try.
* Power cycle the CM and then have the PIX attempt to do DHCP.

address fine. the pix is configured to get an
ipaddress from dhcp for
