So Sorry you are going through this, but check and see if you can get it
free. If your insurance won't pay I think there is a free program.
I don't have any gleevec, been off it for years now.
Good luck,

Hi Richard, it's funny that you say that. My mom use to say dog days are
here. She would blame sores and etc on it.
Is Missouri as beautiful as I think it is?
That is one start I haven't visited yet.

Yes I was on it for a few months of agony.
Some people are doing great on it though.
Good luck,

Hi Marty, Thanks for that info; that lets me out; I have been on Gleevec,
Tasigna and now am on Sprycel. I have also had blast.
I have tried on my own to lower the dose but my counts always start rising.
I am going to talk to my onc on my next visit.
Thanks again and hope you are great!

Hi Susan and so glad you are doing so well on the new med. I got my
remission after only a few months on Sprycel. I am so happy that these new
meds
were developed as they have saved my life three time as of this date.
Good luck,

Hi Skip and thanks for the update; I know how that platelet count can get
messed up and out of hand.
I had my platelets go up three times and had to have blood cleansing. It
is similar to getting platelets but they are taking them out instead.
I hope everything will be ok.

Hi Richard and all, I know you are on pins and needles waiting for your

Hi Greenie, internet has been down for a few days; just got it back up.
I hope you are better now. I am good; 76 this year and still up and
running daily hehe. Not running just walking. I like to walk early in the
morning while it's cool.
I have white coat blood pressure and always have. M

Hi Maria,
I take my dose once daily in the morning with breakfast. I am considering
asking my onc if I can go off of it soon to see how my body will react.
My platelets and wbc go up when I try to reduce it, but I am going to try
once more.
I had the same symptoms as you when I was first dx i
Hi Maria, I have been on Gleevec, Tasigna and now Sprycel. The Sprycel
has been the best for me with little side effects and in remission.
Someone here is on Bosulif I believe.
