Hi Greenie and have a safe and wonderful trip.

my illness.
They always lift my spirits.
I just got back from Biloxi MS.
I went with my dau and grand kids.
Biloxi is recovering but it looks like a slow process.

Look what I started? I think it was Barb who began this whole
conversation about diet and WW and etc.! Anyway, I am glad to be an

Susan, Lori and Rebecca,
Well, looks like we can have our little on line WW meeting while we
support each other with CML eh? I gained 45 pounds on gleevec. My
normal weigh was 140 but I had lost down to 124 prediagnosis. My
spleen was enlarged. I wieghed in at 169 a month ago. I plan to get

Hey there:
I, too, have no gall bladder..had it removed when I was 24 years
old.
I started out on 400mgs. of Gleevec upon dx'es and that's where I've
stayed
since the beginning. Nothing really bothers me as far as eating,
except
I have noticed I have a lot of bloating at times here
Barb:
Hello. I also do not have a gall bladder!!! Maybe this is why we are
on such a low dose of Gleevec
The only foods I cannot have a lot of (because of the gall bladder
removal are like French sauces, fresh onions that are not cooked and a
ton of peanuts---guess too much fat in
It's great to hear of other CMLers doing WW. Since my diagnosis 4 yrs
ago, I've gained close to 30 pounds, and you've inspired me to try WW now.
Did you exercise much to lose the weight, or was your success primarily
based on counting points?
Thanks,
Rebecca

Congrats on your wieght loss! I am so proud of you! I just started
WW ( lifetime member also) and am down 10 pounds and wanting to be at
130 as well. I have 30 more to go. I have just a couple of questions.
Did you work out as well and how did your eating with WW affect your
system?
Congrats on the weightloss, Susan! That is truely fantastic. There
is nothing quite like fitting comfortably into clothes and feeling
great.
40 pounds in 5 months is simply wonderful :-)
Keep it up - or rather, keep it off !
Again, well done and I am glad you are proud of yourself - you
