I think the senders name is one of the reasons this list is successful. When
people can be anonymous, things can begin to degrade.
The only downside I can see is that your email is available for harvesting, but
I don’t think the risk is that great, and is worth the trade off.

I think we are getting close.
The From column now displays the senders name.
The Subject includes “Stus-List” + subject
The message does NOT include the sender’s email address. So personal emails
are not available yet. I’ll work on it.

I agree, get yourself a nice Beta 37 ½ HP diesel, and a 3 blade flex-a
– fold. I replaced a 4-108 with one of those Kubota’s, the mounting
was about 2 inches narrower, I just had to get some 3” aluminum (or
maybe 4”) angle to replace the old steel angle. You will be amazed at
how much lighter
We replaced our old Yanmar with a Beta 25 and and new prop and never looked
back. Had to do a little work on the engine bed (new angle iron) and the
engine was light enough that 2 of us could easily slide it into position.
We went for a fixed 3 bladed Campbell Sailer prop http://www.westbynorth

Sally was a surprise. The day before, Sally was heading to New Orleans, then
it stopped moving, and when the wobbling was over, it was heading right for
Flora-Bama with the worst of the storm east of the eye. The Fort Walton Beach
area took a beating. The forecast went from 30ish knt tropica
Dave:
A few Questions:
Exhaust smoke; under load does it produce an elevated amount of black smoke
(overloaded)? White smoke that dissipates gradually (unburned fuel)?
White smoke that travels a few feet and vanishes (steam)?
Was the engine fine one day and have this problem the next, or is it
so
Dave - if you end up finding a substitute please share - I also have a 33-2 and

VC-17 Is a unique bottom paint in that it contains Teflon, and it is
typically used in much thinner thickness than most other paints.
The Teflon tends to get embedded deep into the gelcoat. My last boat had
VC 17, I thought it was too expensive so I switched. The Micron CSC fell
off within weeks
VC17 and the West Marine equivalent will stick over other paints, but other
paints won't stick over VC17. Best way to remove VC17 is a stripper
followed by sanding.
