My 1989 34R had delrin bearings and back in 2004, I fixed the slight bit of play and hum by dropping the rudder, drilling the shaftlog and installing zerk fittings. I grease these bearings using a food grade synthetic grease. Major improvement and has worked for twenty plus years. Chuck S
