Hey Bev,
Just to clarify a couple of things.
1) They are LED lights specifically meant for a vehicle (car/boat/rv) right?
2) When you say 'these two circuits are blown' does that mean the breaker
trips on those two circuits?
3) Did the installer pull new wires or reuse the existing wires?

Lots of experience. Better to buy the 15 dollar tool than to have to go
back and insert new pins on a regular basis because the needle nose doesn't
do a perfect job.
Here is the tool that I purchased. Cheapest one I found and does the job
right.

As others have said, the 0183 wire is likely to support the signal cables
but not to not support the power requirements of downstream devices, however
there are work arounds.
Often when you are replacing 0183 devices with newer N2K devices, the older
devices already had power run to them.
David,
I watch a lot of Youtube channels about cruising families and all of them
say the same thing that you encountered. Coastal sailing isn't too hard to
find and if you shop around, you can get a good deal like you did.
The one thing they all say is that once you leave the coastal USA waters

I've always drilled out the heads of the screws for any that are stripped

My C&C 39 has an e-tiller that is simply a 3' piece of steel pipe welded to
a 3" piece of heavy gage square tube that fits over the rudder post fairly
snuggly. The pipe is welded on at about a 20 degree angle (above
horizontal) and my post is right under the binnacle with easy access to it
100% agree Andy. I think that 50/50 chance of getting back on board is only
if someone sees you go overboard also. If you are on watch alone, your
chances drop to pretty much nil.

Horseshoes are about the easiest for someone in the water to get themselves
into because they just dive over the open end and hang from it. Kind of like
floating on a pool noodle. As someone else mentioned, they tend to be
light, so they don't fly well in a wind, or even without wind. Min
The typical cheap moisture meter uses prongs to measure the moisture, the

I actually read something about this noise several years ago when I first
looked into LEDs. The issue is the driver, not the LED itself.
The driver is what converts the 12/24V from your battery bank to the 3/5V
that the LED chip uses. The driver is built into the bulb in most cases.

For every plant/location of manufacturing, the builder needs to get a new HIN
designation.
There is a database that you can look up HIN designations and it will tell you
the location of the plant.

You might look into Mineral Wool insulation.

Just a bit more specifics on the GFCI.
For it to be effective, it had to be the first outlet on the power line from
