opinion(s) that the original layout may not be optimum.

I have a 1983 CC 37 and greatly change the deck layout. I moved the traveller
from the cabin top to the bridge deck and converted to end boom sheeting. I do
a lot of solo racing and find this arrangement a lot easier to handle.
All my halyards and control lines run aft, but I have the ability
so upset with me, before or

You may also want to try contacting the Marine Museum of the Great Lakes at
Kingston which holds the CC Collection within its archives. The museum has
a vast collection of a large number of CC drawings which may well
include the 32, If so, this would include the hull lines, sail plan,
Check on the Harken site as it has diagrams of typical boat layouts
