Christian, welcome to the group. Last year, I overhauled my steering system on
my C&C33ii; I am pretty sure yours will be very similar. It looks like you are
probably in the Halifax area, so, rather than buy an expensive kit from Edson,
may I suggest you take the chain and cable to Jamie at No
Chris:
As others have suggested, pull the compass off and get the serial number
of your pedestal to make sure which model you have and contact Edson.
I am guessing 'Northern Light' came from the Royal Nova Scotia Yacht

collet to fit. Your boat has a thicker cutlass bearing, so using a pice of
pipe as a collet might be more feasible.

Chris,
I’m fairly certain that a call to Edson will get you the correct Chain & Wire
Kit. I've noticed with my questions to them it seems that they keep pretty good
records. You’ll probably need to pull the compass off and get the serial number
of your pedestal to make sure they know which mode
Chris,
Call Edson and give them your pedestal's serial number (found inside the
pedestal under the compass on a blue tag). They can look up the exact cable
and chain length sold to the factory. Best to not assume a generic length will
fit as C&C 37 models cover a wide range of boats over many
