We had a Black-headed grosbeak visit our backyard in Erie on 4/29. It
didn't stay long. Only the second time in 10 years that we've seen one
checking out our feeders.

Hey all,
I just (Thursday 5/3, 10:45AM) had my FOY Green-tailed Towhee in my
backyard. A friend had several in her yard on Monday, so they are quite
active around town!

In the next week or two, I will be making a birding trip through Eastern
Colorado, for migrants and local specialties. I will be driving from
Laramie, WY, with the final destination of Cottonwood Canyon in SE

We had a turnover today. Many birds early, 35 more about 9am, 20 later as
sparrows moved into the shade. Total new banded birds 75. Several FOS's.
As Brandon P. posted, most of the special warblers from yesterday were still
