After a quiet lunch at Standley Lake I was treated to a last minute sight of
2 dozen White-faced Ibis elevating above the lake. Nice flight silhouette
comparison with the Cormorants at the lake.

Waterfowl numbers were on the rise at Lower Church Lake this morning, and
included a pair of Cinnamon Teal. That was a first of season for me and the
earliest I have seen them in the area.
