Hi Gary, The Color Classic has the same PDS slot that is in the LC/LC II systems, matter of fact, I've often heard that the CC is basically an LC II in a compact Mac case. So yes, you can use an LC Ethernet adapter in your Color Classic. You should be safe with the Asante or Sonic cards;

That's a Seagate Barracuda. Great drives, tremendously fast for the time, but I wouldn't put one in a compact Mac. The Barracuda is notorious for extreme heat problems. A friend of mine had one catch fire in his file server when he left the side off. To use one in a 7500 once I had to drill a bunc

Rob, Occasionally eBay will have the back panels of the 575 up for sale. Look at Old Mac Milt for such a piece. I've found that since the back faces away from me and towards a wall, I really don't miss it that much. Of course, if you do have it exposed, then get it covered. My advice is to
