Could this USB port be similar to the one on my HDTV? The USB is fo
FIOS triple play is offered in Northren VA at $104/month for

I assume that this is a DirecTV TiVo so Comcast has nothing to do with it.
If you get a new DVR it won't be a TiVo.
Have you rebooted the machine? Unplug wait a minute and replug. This fixes
lots of strange behavior.
Try erasing and reentering season passes.

Get a font management utility. Best one is Suitcase for Windows.
They only provide the one, small-ish battery that's built into the unit.
You can have extra batteries on hand, but you have to have a way of charging
them. There is a small A/C adapter port on the side, but from my research
there's nothing available to go into it. Plenty of forum threads on the w
Far be it for me to claim expert status on fonts, but from my limited
experience, nothing happens to the already installed fonts. You should get
prompts about overwriting existing files if you try to install one already
installed.
Just the same, back up your fonts folder beforehand and try small
If I were in your position, I would try going through guided setup
again. Apparently the TiVo has different strategies for tuning your
set top box. Possibly it will choose a better one than what it is
using now.

I figured I'd throw this out to the Tivo devotees and see if anyone has either
heard of this or has a possible solution.
I've got a Tivo Series II DVR and DirecTV and Comcast basic.
Sometimes, when I go to watch a program that should have been recorded by Tivo,
I get the bouncing 721 message.

So, you are seriously saying that there have been more MS ads than Mac ads,

Nah. Maybe in the last month or so the ratio has been closer, but I still

But more importantly, the Apple ads have been running since 2006, and they

Yeah especially when it's just say a scratch on the paint or maybe a dent in
