Possible that anyone can tell me something about localization?
I have to translate some .po but compiling the sources with current ( 13 oct
1999 ) cooker I have problem with localization.
WindowMaker don't recognize the italian ( search for X11 locales? ), other apps
that uses GTK ( I think ) wor

There are several items missing in KDE, like icons in kfm
the arrows for back, forward, home are missing
and everytime I try to manualy install kde packages
it complains of missing libraries.
dependency problem:
kdelibs, libkdecore.so.2, besides kdelibs-1.1.2-mdk

I have two major problems:
1
Locales does not work. The first issue is with WindowMaker ( from cvs )
that reports : translated messages none ( at the end of configure )
Other things like gcombust ( just now I'm working on italian language ) detect
the localization and use the right .po
Because
I havent looked at the source, but "rmmod -as" does not work with
modutils-2.1.121-14mdk. Only "rmmod -a -s" works...
So I think /etc/cron.d/kmod in this package should be changed...

How difficult would it be to replace MySQL with Oracle or some other RDBMS?
With the current releases of Midgard, impossible. There is some
MySQL-specific stuff in the Midgard code. However, there has been some talk
of supporting other databases. Why this hasn't been d
I am not an expert with Midgard, but to the best of my knowledge, the
advantage behind Midgard is the ability to create dynamic pages with Apache.
A disadvantage with Midgard when using PHP3 is that it loads the module
dynamically when requested. Apache does not load php3 and keep it resident.

Is the postgresql-devel package installed on your server ?
It looks like you don't have some include files...
