There seems to be a bug in the ppp code in kernel 2.4.0 that stops me from
going to certain web sites.
This bug does not occur when I take the same system to a friends and access
the Internet via ethernet. This bug also did not occur when I was running a
2.2.16 kernel with the latest ppp.rpm ppp

I'm trying to build a bootable ISO and burn it off the latest 7.2beta
mirrors (sunsite.uio.no or ftp.sunet.se). For one thing, they are always
in an update so it is tough to get a full mirror, but other than that,
they never have a boot.cat file in the images directory, as is required
for mkisof

I am trying to install kdemultimedia from the latest beta, and it is asking
for libXaw.so.7. Which package does this file come from?
X on 7.2 beta 2 is does work as well as on the 1st beta.
My video card is ATI Rage 128 RF and I'm running the XFree86-SVGA-3.3.6
server (the verison 4 server keeps blanking the screen).

This problem started to occur on 7.1 and was still present on the 7.2
beta 1. I expected that it would not re-occur with beta 2, but in spite

read partitions. Does anyone know the status of these fixes? I can't install
the beta again untill the partition problem is fixed. I reinstalled 7.1 for
