I have been trying to use the updated kde rpm on 7.2, kde support was fine
but kdelibs just grinds the disk for half hour and produces messages such as
VM killing process cupsd
in the end control C kills it
I have downloaded the files twice incase of corruption.
Anyone have similar probs
procps-2.0.7-6 install script needs rm or it fails. Well it is a
cosmetic problem but just in case.

The only card I usually have inserted is my modem. But this problem has only
recently started happening, and I had the same modem for ages.
Updated my /etc/pcmcia/serial.opts and /etc/pcmcia/ide.opts ? I am using
kernel-pcmcia-cs-2.2.17-25mdk. How do I do this, and why ??

The clicking is not from the CD it is from the floppy, even though the output
applies to the ATAPI device. I surmise therefore that both devices are being

The new packages work great here. The response is a bit faster :). The new
minimize/maximize/close buttons are _much much better_ than KDE2's original "arrows".
The taskbar "icon-popup" is cool. Control Panel is faster and less crash.

wondering if the wine package provided by mandrake is containing the
nifty tools that codeweavers provide. I'm thinking of the
configuration wizard, wine launcher and the KDE/GNOME integration aso.
