I have updated Mandrake Update Robot to v0.8 and applied patches from
Pixel and probably solve the incompatibility between RPM v3 and RPM v4.
This one suppose to work for both RPM 3 and RPM 4. If it has a compile
problem with RPM 4, please let me know.

assuming you have a valid 2.4 kernel and the other deps have been taken
care of
all you would have to do is
1 copy the kernel file to /boot/
2 copy the system.map file over
3 tell your boot loader about the new kernel
This assumes you are starting from an installed system

1) Setting up dial-up internet connection failed. I completed the dialog

If you have a SCSI boot drive, and you haven't built SCSI into the kernel, but
have it load as a module, you also have to use mkinitrd to create a new

I updated my mirror at 23:30 Mountain time (GMT -7, I think), Feb 24th. When running the install (network.img), 8139too.o will not load. The last time I did an install was
so I had to make enough room on winbloze partition to copy the whole
