I'm interested as to where you got the mathplot rpm which needs libtk.so?

Ok, I REALLY need some help here. I cannot seem to get the source code for
the driver to compile correctly (or be inserted properly). I figure this
might be a good forum for this as it may be of interest to some here to also
see this device working under mandrake 8.2.
Some background:
In my efforts to track down a hardware problem that is causing system lockups I was
changing out components with those from a well running system.
One such component was the vid card.
I removed the GeForce3 from this system and replaced it with a Radeon and ran XFdrake

Oh, shock! You mean I'm not the only one with a Xircom Cardbus card? :-)
Yes, I too have been spurned by the mandrake team. I have to manually install

I had problems trying to install from a harddrive. Although I do have a

Nope. I have one as well. I also described it early in beta1 of Cooker 8.2.

Hi,
There has been a problem with the kernel BEFORE today's update.
Often when starting the computer with a Zoom pcmcia modem plugged in, the

I was wondering when someone was going to do this. I would have liked

On this note - what would be a good resource to start reading if I
wanted to learn how to write drivers for Linux? (assuming zero
I can't even get it working after an install - I get similiar problems.
This has been the issue since Mandrake 7.2 - but I can't complain too
much cause I haven't reported the bug until now. :-)
