Up until very recently I was running an IDE Mitsumi 2801 on Mandrake 7.1. I
had to recompile the kernel with SCSI emulation support, which wasn't too
difficult.
I used XCDROAST to write CD's. I don't think I had a single coaster out of
over 100 burns

WellI haven't found a Iomega drive not supported by Linux but..if Linux
support is so good how come you can only put 119MB on a Zip 250. Even gdiskfree
shows it as only 51% full, but can you get any more on it ? nooo !
