My Agfa 1212U appears to be configured but will not scan.
Running scannerdrake results in correct detection and the question "Should it
be configured". Answering yes results in the dismissal of the Yes / No dialog

While we are on the subject of scanners, has the ppSCSI patch been integrated
into the mdk kernel yet, or are we still waiting?
Also, on the parport mailing list, Tim Waugh is looking for a mainatiner of

I just made an heavy update to scannerdrake and ScannerDB thanks to yours
contributions following my call some weeks ago. It should now handle and
configure most of the scsi and usb scanner that are known to be working under
linux.
BUT, there is NO support (for the moment, working on it asap) :
