2) In /home. First of all we are going out of any Unix philosophy: since 1970 homedirs are 700, now they are created as 711. I don't think this is the right default, anyway it's just a personal opinion, so I simply run chmod 700 homedir. OK. NO! It seems OK, but it will be 711 again

I agree with you George-- Msec is definitely one of the tools that could use a frontend, just like we have one for rsync (DrakSync). I say again too these Drak tools should all be in the 'Mandrake *Control* Center', where we can *Control* all aspects of our Mandrake system. Maybe
