I'm assuming you just pour the condensed milk overtop. That's what the

Are you saying that this is just the raw ingredients to make the cookies?
I'm a little confused because you don't bake it so when you give the jar
away what is the person to do with it?

A cookie mix in a jar is supposed to be a food gift. You put the ingredients
in a jar and attach a recipe card to the jar, and the person who receives
this gift will bake cookies at a later time.

Hi Everyone,
Below is a recipe my sister gave me that she says rarely fails her. I thought
I'd share it since it is now the holiday season:
HOMEMADE CHOCOLATE OR PEANUTBUTTER FUDGE
2 cups sugar
1 cup milk or carnation cream
6 tablespoons of Hershey cocoa
dash salt
1/2 cup peanut butter if
Do you think that you could use milk, or dark chocolate in this recipe
rather than white, or is the texture of white chocolate different enough
that the recipe wouldn't work as well?

The title of the recipe would have to change GRIN.
This is my all time favorite cookie recipe. Personally I don't think that
this type of nut would compliment the taste of regular chocolate. But hey,
let us know. It might be a good combination after all.

YAM SOUFFLE
3 cups mashed cooked yams
1/4 cup sherry or orange juice
1 1/2 cups milk
1/2 cup butter, softened
2 teaspoons orange rind, freshly grated
pinch of black pepper
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon ginger
1 teaspoon salt
2 1/2 tablespoons dark brown sugar
4 eggs, separated
Combine all
The texture of white chocolate is the same. Using milk or dark chocolate
will alter the flavor and the color, but not the consistency. And
personally, I prefer dark chocolate. White chocolate is not chocolate, as
far as I am concerned.

Thank you, Patricia and Jan. Yes, it definitely helps. I'm kind of
hesitant to try this recipe, but I'll save it in the offchance that I
feel adventurous one day. Smile. Jennifer

It looks as if you do not brown the meat first. Wouldn't this be
awfully greasy? Has anyone tried it? Let me know, please. Jennifer

I agree, I usually use turkey meat, but when I did use ground beef, I would
