I got this recipe from a friend on facebook. I haven’t made it and I don’t fry
things much any more so I probably won’t. The recipe sounds good though so I
thought I would post anyway.

good cook. I was married for 9 years where my wife did all the cooking. Now
that I am divorced cooking for our 3 kids daily, its time

You would need to cook the bacon, at least, first so it is crisp; otherwise,
it would be limp and slimey like if you add it to a pot of beans for
flavoroing.

Just returning to welcome you to the list, and say that we all started at
the beginning. so there is no question to be considered dumb or stupid. we
are all here to help one another. If you cannot get a toaster oven, you also
might want to consider either a Hamilton Beach grill or one of the small
Hello Katy and Sandy:
I just wanted to confirm that, thanks. I have a George formen grill which
will do the same as a toaster oven, so any meets for the caseroll, will need
to be cooked, then. I'll keep that in mind.
Thanks.

Also in terms of cooking bacon, I likI find that the microwave actually does
the best. I just take the bacon and put the strips between paper towels. I
actually think it does a better job than cooking bacon on the stove.

I love biscuits and use frozen ones but would love to make real ones but I'm a
poor dough roller which is why I buy frozen pie crusts which just roll into the
pie pan.
Many years ago I made my own pie crust but my late husband helped me roll out
the dough.
Does anyone have either a great
You could also cook bacon in the microwave or buy microwave bacon.
There are lots of options.
Sausages have to be cooked though.

Hi.
Welcome to the list. I hope you enjoy your time here.
My personal preference would be to cook a meat like bacon or sausage before
putting it in the slow cooker. I've never used bacon in a slow cooker, but most
casseroles, soups, etc. which use meats like bacon instruct you to cook the
Sausages can be cooked for 4 minutes with a George Forman grill set on high.
I use the frozen sausage patties from Wal-Mart that are marked spicy.
They are not hot, just fairly spicy. A lot of people don't know the
difference between hot and spicy, but there is a difference. Spaghetti

Welcome to the list. Katie has some good ideas, and she knows from
experience. I, too, am in Oklahoma. Fact is, just around the corner from

Welcome to the list. You'll get a lot of great recipes and techniques here.
Sorry, but my only pork chop recipes are either oven or electric skillet
recipes, though the basic oven pork chop recipe might work. In this one you
slice up potatoes and an onion and layer the onion and then the potatoes
Here is one pork chop recipe for making them in the crock pot. I have a few
more if you want them.
It follows. Katie
cherry Crock Pot Pork Chops
What you need:
6 center -cut, lean pork chops (24oz.)
1 c. cherry pie filling
2 tsp. fresh lemon juice
½ tsp. instant chicken
I think you're better off precooking the bacon or sausage. But I'll check
tomorrow when i have more time.

Hi All,
Do you have suggestions for cutting pastries, such as brownies or cookie

Thanks.

Don't be afraid to touch them (with clean hands). Use the knife in your
dominant hand to cut, and feel with your other hand to see how big a square
you're getting. If it's cutting a whole pan at once, I usually just grid it
off, using one hand on the top of the knife blade to monitor how far
their was a pan that had a part in it which cooked the brownies in their own
square.
