I made this recipe this evening based on my landlord's ingredients and my
own changes as well as some tips from my friend in London, United Kingdom. A
lot of people use ground beef (1 pound) which I did before; this time I used
about 1 pound ground lamb which I much prefer though it is harder to

2 1/2 pounds potatoes, peeled and cooked
1 to 1 1/2 cups (8 to 12 ounces) sour cream
Salt and pepper to taste
2 pounds ground beef
1 medium sweet red pepper, chopped
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 can (15 1/4 ounces) whole kernel corn, drained
1 can (10 3/4 ounces) condensed cream

I searched out a recipe for Shepherd's pie on the internet. I'm not posting
it, but it called for 1/2 cup beef broth and some Worcestershire sauce. I
suspect that the seasoning mix is similar to a gravy mix so you could
substitute the beef broth along with some black pepper and
