All is OK, now.
I think it was a problem with my "configure" launch.
At the first installation I had used "./configure --with-mailuser=vmail
--with-mailgroup=vmail".
Now I've reinstalled ("make clean" and "make distclean") the entire
package (logging as user "vmail"):
