Hi everyone,
Re: NASA, I wanted to wait until we had more details before I made any
larger announcement, but I'll go ahead and make a separate post to say
I'm working on it.
Sorry to take this thread off topic!

Yeah; NASA sounds really interesting. Wondering aloud.
Julie, if you're up to gathering when you are in NYC, email me as you get
closer to the date.

Tara, thanks for sharing the rules. We compiled rules from member
input and posted them in the space on a mobile whiteboard. Yours,
however, cut to the chase in a charming way.

Thanks for posting these, Tara! I'm in the process of setting up
coworking spaces for NASA, so I'm getting more looped in to what
others are doing. While the government probably can't use similar
wording (unfortunately!), these common sense rules are a great
foundation for any space.

We didn't post any rules, either...until they were needed. I would advise
putting up something because the dude who violated them told me he was
entitled to abuse the space 'cause nobody had told him differently. But we
made our rules kind of fun instead of demanding.

Brian,
We don't have any posted rules at Caroline Collective. When people ask
how the space works, we explain that it is a work environment with the
expected noise from social interaction. We also point to several rooms
where conference calls can be taken without disturbing work. Common
courtesy
Kind of the latter. I haven't heard of legal issues as of yet.

Those are nice Tara. I love the way they are written. :)
Are they intended to help you in legal defense or just prevent the "no
one said you had rules" complaints?
