Michael, Oracle8 IS downward comaptible with Oracle7, provide you use SQL*Net v2 to communicate between both, which shouldn't be a problem. So you can use Oracle8 on your Linux box to communicate with Oracle7 on NT. This being said, I strongly recommend to upgrade your 7.3.2 on NT, since it is n
