Perhaps. I transcribed the info I was given. It could have been
written poorly or it could be a flat-out mistake. I'm not up on mics
model numbers.

I know of two:
Keith Gatto's recording... Shure SM96 / Sony TC-152
Steve Maizner's w/ Sony ECM-99Os / TC-153
Both are good. I don't know a way to distinguish between them off-hand.
Both circulate as A:MCass>DAT(>CD) flavors.

Hi
I visited http://www.deadlists.com, and
noticed that you're not listed on some search engines! I think we can offer
you a service which can help you increase traffic and the number of visitors
to your website.
I would like to introduce you t

Guys,
3/18/88 is in the database update. My last update was May 9th. Here is
what I have:
DATE 03/18/88
VENUEHenry J. Kaiser Auditorium
CITY Oakland State CA
SET1 Iko Iko [7:53] ; Little Red Rooster [11:00] ; Brown-Eyed Women [5:46]
; When I Paint My Masterpiece [5:28] ; Bird S
the new site has nothing to do with caretaker responsibilities, i'm sorry to
say... so one should not equate the new database interface with sudden data
accuracy.

I posted to this list several months ago that 3/18/88 is missing from the
1988 lists. Still MIA, apparently.
I noticed that the beta deadlists is also missing 3/18/88. It seems that
this show is going to be forgotten :(
Hello all,
I recently listened to a very enjoyable and clear
AUD of 5/15/77 St. Louis. Not sure how many different
AUDs circulate for this, but this one was very well
recorded. Does anyone know a possible lineage, type
of gear used, or Taper.
Thanks, Tom

hey, that was easier than i thought.
jim, it appears that Lynx reads all the database scripting just fine. i
changed the 1965-1969 links on the following page:
http://www.shallwego.net/deadlists/year_menu.htm
to read directly from the database.
i was then able to use "P) Print To File" for o
Roger that.

That's my "year," the pre-dead. Is there something I need to be doing
to get that info into the database?

well, there outta be, shouldn't there? that information is not currently in
the database, so i'll have to work something to pull the text file for that
information instead.
thanks

Kevin, will there be a link to the "pre-dead" page/dates? Or did I just not
see it?
Thanks
Instead of maintaining/updating text files, wouldn't it be easier to
write a database query that created a full text dump at runtime,
whenever a user requested a full year?

okay, i made some changes to the PILOT site so that it performs in much the
same way as current site in allowing those using text-based browsers to
access the year menu and the text files.
i tested this using a Lynx version 2.8.3 which works under Win32. if you're
using DOS 386, i can't test fo
