This bug is actually a correct test-case failure due to bug #480208 in
libffi-dev.
I'm not reassigning or merging this with that, I'll leave that up to the
maintainer/submitter to decide. But once #480208 is fixed, a binNMU will
resolve this bug.

Just as an extra point of information, the document that I mentioned
before is perfectly readable with djview4 (but it pulls in a lot of
dependencies and I would really prefer to have evince used here).

gedit can open CRLF and LF files and display them identically. however, copying
text from one to the other
retains the line endings of the original, even when the file is saved.
i suggest that upon pasting, gedit automatically converts the line
OK my bad. Moved the old FPC config files out of the way...and the
crashing stopped. First time that's ever happened. Uusually new versions
run fine on tghe old config files. Is there a note in the readme or
somewhere ?
