The thing with quantumminigolf is that the upstream code could use
some love. First, the GUI is a bit odd, won't listen to a kill click,
hogs CPU, doesn't scale, etc. And second, the numeric kernel could
use some work to decrease the visible-to-the-eye numeric artifacts.

I think I noticed a regression of conky-std/1.8.x with respect to the old
conky/1.7.x versions.
Since I began using conky-std/1.8.x (first a locally rebuilt modification
of conky-std/1.8.0-1.1, with

the same URL. To get the version number out, I need to look in a
particular file in the tarball and find it there. This is easy to do
with a fragment of shell code: use tar to extract the file to stdout,

I am not sure what to do with this bug report. kexec-tools is not
supported on alpha and control file lists supported architectures as
i386 amd64 ppc64 powerpc ia64 s390 arm armel. So this package is not
expected to build on alpha.
