I stepped on a bug that is triggered when enabling ipv6 forwarding.
Whenever I request the route for my subnet, with ipv6 forwarding
enabled, it responds with the looopback.

The version 1.0.2 fixes that situation already. It doesn't lookup the
text/html target anymore. The upcoming version 1.1.0 restores the
clipboard with the original targets.

No, it is the right behavior. Slim must not be stopped while/after it
is being uninstalled for a simple reason: the process apt-get remove
started through a terminal emulator must not be killed or crap will
happen. And I doubt you had like you X session to be taken down
There is an upstream bug open for that, and a patch is available.

I guess that what you are looking for is in bug #476248. You can copy
the content of /etc/pam.d/slim as written in the latter bug and tell
me if it works. I will in fact include that pam file within the next
package, tho I don't have upload rights which slows me down by doing
so.

I did a merge with 473209 which has the same error as I stumbled over,
and more information about the real problem (/boot/grub/devices.map).
Bastian, it breaks as-in it quits the configuration processing, and
forces me to run a reconfiguration to finish the apt-get install.

Running the command /bin/ls -r lists the files in a reversed order. Now if
you put this as an alias for ls you will have to destroy the alias or run
/bin/ls if you want to lists the files in the former order (without
reversing).

I have done some work around SLiM to package it, and I really like. I
feel also like willing to maintain it as the last news are from several
months ago. Therefore I have send an owner with the bts command.
