I am hard at work packaging the KDEVELOP_1_4 CVS branch of kdevelop. This is
basically the 2.0beta1 with hopefully fewer bugs. You can test out the packages
by downloading them from

There are some problems with the package but I will continue to work
As you may (or may not) know, I'm now officially a KDE developer, and
Cookbook is in the kdenonbeta CVS module.

Is there any way to have konsole run as a 'login shell' as I do with my
xterms (xterm -ls)?? Originally I had editted the /usr/lib/menu/konsol

ivan could make versioned dependencies, so kdm refuses to install when
you have the bad libs. but that sucks, as it would prevent you from
using latest x.

It is in testing and unstable. Potato packages are just backported
from unstable.

packackage. Where do I find this package?

gnome menu. Is it possible to add the gnome and debian menu to the kde
