basic. But I can't fix it. The debian user guide didn't help. It told me to modify files which don't exist. Looking forward to your replies. Drastic but ..Do a 'dpkg -P xdm, gdm, kdm' then 'apt-get install kdm', this assumes that you have a source for KDE for Stable. -- Greg C. Madden

are there, the folder in ~/Mail shows new messages being downloaded but they don't show up in Kmail. Anyone seeing this behavior ?
