xorg won't work. Keeps claiming I am missing a driver 'synaptics'. I

I have two kernels installed here: custom 2.6.12-5 and stock 2.6.8-2-k7.
Both work ok and speak to my usb mp3 player. The problem is that custom
uploads to it in ~80kbps, while stock will upload in ~800kbps. Both

I installed epiphany-extensions 1.6.4-2 from unstable, which installed
libosp4c2 and removed libosp4. The "Tools" menu then appeared in
Epiphany the next time I started it, and with it access to the
extensions. Thanks!

yes, it would be unbootable. you can always 'hold' a package, use the
equals sign in aptitude to hold a package.
