Well, I bet you have xfstt package from hamm. It was old and broken. Get xfstt from slink - it should work fine. The actual xfstt executable is indeeed located in /usr/X11R6/bin. In /etc/init.d thereis a script that is used to start and stop the daemon. Another thing: the slink version of xfstt k

I don't know why the xfstt installation doesn't put this in there for you automatically, or at least tell you to do it after adding ttf fonts to the proper directory, but it should.
