There's not much configuration in the fvwm package of Debian, indeed.

But gnome have screenlets that I want to keep. I can launch them but the
problem is that they are now with window decoration. What I want is

I use both VNC and fvwm (package version: 2.5.16-2), and I don't

I am running Sarge and I got everything from official Debian using

Just doing some fine tuning of my X setup on Debian Sarge, and in an attempt to
check
the X configuration and reduce the volume of spurious error messages produced
in the X
log files I tried monitoring the diagnostic output from starting just fvwm.
This produced
the following messages:

I do this with X or FVWM or other programs.
XMessage doesn't look very nice.
I would call that invoking a program that pops up a message.
I did just that, but with Qt. I have a generalized popup program:

How can I do this with X or FVWM
prob. solved
It is a feature of X11

I replied to you via the FVWM mailing-list, which is where this
question ultimately belongs.
