Has anyone ran across a way to have COPYFILE still work in cases where
the final action is DELETE/HOLD other than writing an external test?

I'm trying to trap some emails to look at and wanted to use the copyfile
action, but I haven't caught any.
I'm worried I don't have the format correct:

I am noticing the COPYFILE does not add everything to the headers. One of
the things its missing is my custom XINHEADERS.
Is this by design? As my expectation is that all of the XINHEADERS would be
added as they really help reviewing messages.

I just came across something that I wasn't expecting while using both
the COPYFILE and DELETE actions. Essentially, COPYFILE is still
functioning when a DELETE condition is met, but DELETE I thought was
supposed to superseded all other actions.
My config would be roughly the following in the

I had to make a sizable kludge to make COPYFILE work the way that I
wanted to due to the lack of the Declude headers. I've requested that
this be addressed in future releases and it is nice to see that I am
not alone even if my own use for this is unique. It's almost valueless

This would be very usefull.
The COPYFILE action can be used to watch a small range below the hold weight
to watch what's going on there and maybe adapt something in the weighting
system.
Using the action COPYFILE, the copied D file does not have the Declude
Headers.
Can this be changed?

I wanted to
make sure that WHITELISTIP only whitelisted the client connecting to
Imail and not any other IP in the headers since they could contain the
same internal IP as in my range.
That is correct -- WHITELISTIP will only check the IP address of the remote

Hey...while I'm on a roll here. Declude docs don't specifically say
what is considered in IPBYPASS. That doesn't scan the headers for
multiple hops does it? I'm hoping it just considers the IP that
connected to the Imail box. That's how I'm using it.
IPBYPASS works with all IPs that the E-mail pas

David,
COPYFILE is not a final action like HOLD is, but it works almost
exactly the same way in how it handles the files. The difference in
how the files are handled come down to the Declude headers. HOLD
actions will have Declude headers in them while COPYFILE actions will

This won't work as expected, because you can't have multiple actions for a
single test (see the "Multiple actions per test" section of the manual at
