Don' think so. There are certain applications in Ubuntu that have their
own logic of displaying menus and items (e.g. firefox or open office)
and don't completely obey to the theme rules. However, the change is
always unform, can't vary from menu to menu, from page to page. This is

This was my first ever bug report on Launchpad. I did not intentionally

If anyone still interested: I got this error recently (15 min ago), and
by now have managed to resolve it.
The problem was in my /etc/hosts file - it was missing 127.0.0.1

Ok, thanks. I did like wiki told me. Although, Nautilus does not crash,
it just fills up the memory space. I played with it for awhile. Seems
like it pumps the memory usage when showing previews of picture/photo
files. I managed it to go to 206mb.

Quick update: I just noticed that Nautilus eats the memory when I open
directories and folders. The more folders/files I see, the more memory
it will use. However it will not revert back when I close everything.

It would be very useful if the printing dialog of Evince supported a
switch for colour/greyscale printing. Some printers have separate colour
and black ink cartridges, and when colour runs out it's still OK to
print most docs in black white.
Confirmed here also. I mistakenly deleted menu icon of TvTime program. I
reinstalled the program, but main menu didn't display it, even though
the .desktop file was there.
As a matter of fact, I think this bug is at least one year old. I
remember I had similar problems in Breezy.

Totally agree. I'm using 7,10 ubuntu with compiz on default settings. All tango
themes are useless! Game is seriously slow.
Never thought that a tetris game would be impossible to play on 2,5ghz 2gb
ram machine! ;-)

When my external HDD-drive is unmounted it is still powered on, my HDD-
drive still getting power from USB and spinning. I am thinking this is
not safe to stop disk just disconnecting usb-cord. Is it possible to

Same here. I made archive with helping hand of file-roller. Archive
(zip) contained non-Latin (Russian) file names in UTF-8 from my Ubuntu
Linux Gutsy Gibbon and in my system it appears fine. BUT when someone
tries to open my archive in other OS - can not read any symbol there in
my archive and
I confirm this bug in Gutsy! I can not take files and drop them in
folder. DnD does not work.

I have this problem after installing xserver-xgl and deleting it. I get this
