Did a clean saucy install on the laptop of my wife and she got affected
by this. Would gladly help debug.
Not sure if it helped or not, since I only tried one reboot so far, but
others could also try putting the keyboard layout in ~/.dmrc - at least
for one login it helped but will need to check
I think this just started happen to me (running 13.10). I started using
fstab to nfs-mount my nas.

Yes, it's pretty irritating. It's not really a bug in network manager
though, it's just a glitch in the GUI.
Here's how to make it work:
1) Select a totally random certificate from /usr/share/ca-certificates/mozilla
2) Try to connect . you'll not succeed, but

I was able to connect to my university WIFI. But after a bit of a use I
experience some kind of disconnect. My wifi keeps connected, but I'm not able
ping anything or connect to the internet / local LAN. Only a reconnect to the
wifi fixes this, but not for long. Tested on:
Whenever developers shows lack of interest in use-case based
feature-implementation, i just point them to this bug. If the still
don't get it, i'll tell them to open the /usr/share/themes-folder in
Nautilus using just a keyboard. Most of them will just yell obscenities
and set PCManFM or Thunar as
