+1 (binding)
* verified checksum and signature
* checked contents in the source tarball
* made sure the source tarball was successfully built without unit test failure

Zhiguo and I have fixed the existing unit test failures in
AMBARI-25869, AMBARI-25870, AMBARI-25874, AMBARI-25877, and
AMBARI-25878.
So I'm going to remove the property above from the CI job for trunk.
Please let me know if this chan
ng for users to publish our upcoming
release as 2.0.0.
How about canceling this vote, and publishing it as 2.8.0 or higher?

If there are three binding +1s and the number of binding +1s
are larger than -1s, and you don't think the issues pointed out
are critical, you still can move forward the release, as its manager.

Thanks for driving this release, Zhiguo!

So far so good, but I found some unit test failures and filed as
AMBARI-25864, 25865 and 25866.
Some of them seem to be a problem of tests themselves, but I'm not
sure if all of them are so. I need some time to investigate.

Oh, I've just noticed that I submitted an additional question into the
wrong thread mistakenly.
https://lists.apache.org/thread/j6kc2h1lphvjvsblcthcl5yzzmjk3tb5 is
originally intended as a reply to this thread. Sorry for the
confusion.

Sorry, I have one question.
Assuming that we support HDP in the 2.7.x line, can we still download
and deploy its packages from a public repository?
I think Cloudera's repositories went behind a paywall, but maybe I
don't understand its usage or terms of use so much.

* Since Ambari 2.8.0 (or 2.7.7?), we replace the default stack with
Bigtop's one as built-in, which allows us to drop the Bigtop Mpack.
